Description: My book Children of the mist, launched in 2007, covers the history of the Griqua people and is today used by the community to understand their roots. After the launch I visited the small community at Franschhoek and had a lovely lunch there. Last week Franschhoek was devastated by the flooding - as you will see in this video.
